Anonymous: What’s the point of having the other 90% if you only use 10% of your brain?

Brainfacts.org (links down below) says that this is actually a myth that 2/3 of our population believes:

“That we use only 10 percent of our brains. Hardly! Our neuron-dense brains have evolved to use the least amount of energy while carrying the most information possible – a feat that requires the entire brain. TED debunks this neurological myth (and explains why we aren’t so good at multitasking).” – Brainfacts.org (link down below video).

CLIMATE CHANGE

By Zoe for president

As the months go by and the U.S. gets better with our new president (or so it seems) but our Earth, is getting worse. Ever since president Trump said that the U.S  would no longer be following the Paris accords and practically denied it existed we have been left to our own devices. People that can have been buying electric or hybrid cars, riding bikes etc. But supporters of Trump agree with Trump’s climate change speech, saying “it’s a hoax”. But climate change is real, the author of the best-selling series Spy School Stuart Gibbs wrote in his sixth book Spy School Goes South that we have to do something about this. Climate Change is not going to stop itself. If we don’t want our next generations to be living in scuba gear and barely surviving, then you should do something about climate change. Ride your bike, walk to school,  you may think that one person can’t do much alone but many people can do anything. Tell your friends, family, neighbors, etc. convince them to do something and spread the word. If we can hold out for a few more decades then scientists can fix the hole in the ozone layer over antarctica.

Doing something:

It’s important that we actually take action instead of just agreeing “yeah this is bad” we have to make sure we make our ideas heard and we speak up. Besides making an effort to stop climate change you can donate to organizations trying to develop the technology to reverse it. But let’s not forget you can’t buy your way out of climate change, we need to take action. Start by watching the video labeled “Start Taking Action NOW!!!”, “it’s real, climate change” and make sure to look at the amazing Stuart Gibbs links.
